He is a visionary and forward-looking leader with extensive experience of progressive growth and outstanding success, streamlining operations over a wide range of educational leadership areas like business incubator management and entrepreneurship development, university advancement/ development, fundraising, executive education, communication and outreach, and project management.
As a development and project management specialist, Muhammad Shah Khan has raised more than PKR 1.5 billion through different projects and has managed various multi-hundred million projects. He has worked as consultant and advisor with renowned international organizations like the World Bank, USAID, JICA, AusAid, British Council and UNHCR. He has been a visiting fellow at Penn State University, USA, Georgia State University, USA and University of Southern Queensland, Australia. He is a certified facilitator of Social Enterprise Academy Scotland and a certified tech transfer and commercialization trainer of US Patent and Trademark Organization (USPTO).
Muhammad Shah Khan has a proven track record of innovation and result-orientation through strategic focus closely mirroring organizational needs and resource optimization. He is the founder and director of National Incubation Center (NIC) Quetta- 2018, founder of BUITEMS Business Incubation and Entrepreneurship Center (BBIEC) – 2015, founder of CPEC Center of Excellence – 2018 and founder of BUITEMS Executive Education Center (BEEC) – 2012. He has mentored dozens of startups and also acts as advisor to several successful startups.
Nisar is a strategy expert devoted in supporting startups and businesses grow at NIC Quetta. Over the years, Nisar has been supportive in providing crucial business consulting and has worked in graduating 39 startups, having created 500+ direct and indirect jobs, with investment of PKR 18.7 Million. He has a certification in Business Incubation Management from the University of Queensland, Australia.
Yumna Iftikhar, currently serving as the Manager of Startup Growth at the National Incubation Center (NIC) Quetta, BUITEMS. With a proven track record spanning 9 years, Yumna has played a pivotal role in driving innovation and fueling entrepreneurial growth in Balochistan. She has been at the forefront of supporting startups, microenterprises, and small businesses, spanning pre-incubation, incubation, and post-incubation phases. Yumna’s contributions extend to formulating effective business strategies, mentoring startups in team development, and managing the planning and execution of diverse incubation programs at NIC Quetta.
In tandem with her managerial responsibilities, her tenure as a professional fellow in both the United States of America and the United Kingdom, has afforded her valuable insights into diverse economic landscapes. This exposure has empowered her to not only understand the complexities of these economies but also to make insightful comparisons with Pakistan’s progress.
Yumna previously served as Sub Editor at Youth Times Pakistan. Her expertise encompasses crafting compelling articles and essays for a wide array of platforms, including forums, online magazines, and community blogs. With a steadfast belief in the transformative power of entrepreneurship to address global challenges, Yumna eagerly seeks opportunities that will not only enrich her knowledge and cognitive capabilities but also enhance her practical experience within the dynamic business arena.
Rehmat Ullah Khan has worked as Manager Admin and M&E at NIC Quetta from the last five years. He is responsible for reporting to all the stakeholders of NIC Quetta and ensure the quality of M&E related data to be collected throughout the program implementation. He has also the domain of Manager Admin of NIC Quetta.
Rehmat has also worked as Manager Business Development and Financial Services at BUITEMS Business Incubation and Entrepreneurship Center-BBIEC for 3 years and in other national organizations in various departments including, Finance and Operations.
Rehmat is Fellow of Charles Wallace Trust in Social Enterprise Academy Scotland, UK awarded by British Council Pakistan and HEC Scholar under the project titled “Provisions of Higher Education opportunities to the students of Balochistan and FATA”. He was one of the top Student Entrepreneur of CM Pak Zong Ltd. in Pakistan during the third quarter of 2010. He is Facilitator at DICE Fellowship and Mentor at Pakistan Startup Cup from the last three years. Rehmat is an entrepreneur and has a vast knowledge of national and international business practices.
Sadia is serving as Manager Marketing and Communication at NIC Quetta. she has served in different sectors for 13 years, Sadia joined BUITMS Business Incubation and Entrepreneurship Center (BBIEC) as liaison officer in 2015. She possesses broad knowledge over the projects of non-governmental organizations designed especially for entrepreneurship development. Before joining BUITEMS, she has worked at Water, Environment & Sanitation Society (WESS) Quetta, Iqra University Quetta and others. Sadia hold Masters in Business Administration , and also has done Masters in International Relations.
